Swedish: Swedish massage is considered the foundation for most massage techniques. Strokes are done generally  toward the clients heart with five basic strokes - effleurage (gliding), petrissage (kneading), friction, topotent (percussion), and vibration. 

Deep Tissue:  Muscle specific treatments designed to optimize function and reduce chronic stress patterns.

Myofacial Release: A technique used to stretch and release connective tissue throughout the body.

Maya Abdominal  Therapy (MAT): a non-invasive, external massage technique.  It guides internal abdominal organs into their proper position for optimum health and well-being. It improves organ function by releasing physical and emotional  congestion in the abdomen. It is effective for men and women.  This work is beneficial for women’s reproductive health; MAM is known to heal symptoms associated with painful periods, irregular cycles and infertility.  Serious digestive problems can be relieved by the gentle and soothing massage. Abdominal cramping, Irritable Bowel Syndrome, and Crohn’s disease symptoms can lessen. For men, the massage has reduced the pelvic congestion associated with benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH). I am honored to share the self-care practice with you and assist your path toward Soul-realization. 

Reflexology: A stimulating treatment of pressure points in the feet and hands.

Cranial Neuromuscular Therapy:   May assist to normalize and bring homeostasis to the nervous system and musculoskeletal system.  Works towards  managing long-term chronic pain patterns: headaches, whiplash, low-back pain, arthritis, TMJ, fatigue, stress, and anxiety.  Used in conjunction with Sutherland/Upledger cranial sacral work.
